Terms of Service

1. About Sajustory

Sajustory (“the Service”) is an online service operated by KAX that generates AI-written readings based on Korean Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) theory. The Service is offered worldwide in English. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Entertainment only

Saju readings are provided for entertainment and self-reflection only. They are not, and must not be relied upon as, professional advice of any kind — including medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment, or relationship advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make in your life. We disclaim all liability for actions taken based on any reading.

3. What you receive

• Your Saju — a one-time AI-written natal reading.
• Today’s Flow — a one-time AI-written reading for the current day.
• Two Souls — a one-time AI-written compatibility reading between two people.

Each purchase unlocks one streamed reading for the exact birth data you entered. Re-running the reading, viewing it again later, or generating a new reading for different data requires a new purchase.

4. Pricing and payment

Each reading is priced at $4.99 USD. Payment is processed by Gumroad, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record. You agree to Gumroad’s own terms during checkout. We do not see or store your full card number.

5. Refund policy

Because each reading is a digital good that is delivered immediately and consumed at the moment it is generated, all sales are final and non-refundable once a reading has been generated.

We will, however, issue a refund if:

• You were charged but the reading was never generated due to a technical failure on our side, or
• You were charged twice for the same reading.

Refund requests can be sent to contact@kax.ai.kr within 7 days of purchase, including the email used at checkout and a brief description of the issue.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Resell, scrape, or systematically download the readings.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or profile other people against their will.
• Attempt to bypass payment, abuse refunds, or interfere with the technical operation of the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, the underlying prompt design, and the layout are owned by KAX. You receive a personal, non-commercial right to read and keep the text generated for you. The Korean Saju tradition itself is part of the public cultural heritage and is not claimed by us.

8. Service availability

The Service is offered “as is” and may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party outages (Anthropic, Gumroad, Vercel, Upstash), or events beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the reading at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer-protection rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence remain unaffected.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The version posted on this page is the current one, and material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date.
